Role Description
We are looking for an energetic person, passionate about BIM technology, to join our team as a Revit Architecture BIM Support Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to support Architects and Building Owners using Revit. This includes:
- Providing comprehensive support/training to professionals at firms using Revit
- Providing remote assistance for projects and staff, researching as needed and updating related best practice and workflow documents
- Developing and implementing Revit templates
- Developing and implementing Revit families
- Developing and implementing industry standards and best practices
- Assisting with installations and updates to software at client offices
- Assisting with Development of Revit models in various Scan to BIM type projects
- Continuously striving to improve skills and knowledge, keeping up with latest versions of software and industry trends
- Assisting senior staff with research and development initiatives
- Maintaining client relationships and being the primary point of contact
- Ensuring clients can successfully complete and deliver projects
- Developing specific BIM goals for each client
- Negotiating and resolving conflicts to assist with BIM utilization
- Understanding and experiencing the design process from pre-design to CA
- Improving the usage of BIM technologies for clients by simplifying workflows and sharing knowledge with teams
- Developing best practices and workflows/standards
- Maintaining and improving managing, developing Revit templates, Revit family libraries, and training plans and materials for clients
- Conducting project kickoffs and advising teams on optimal workflows
- Monitoring client projects (health checks)
- Setting up BIM Beats and Kinship integration
- Setting up Autodesk Construction Cloud Projects
- Collaborating with Client IT to set up required infrastructure
- Assisting clients with Autodesk license management
- Integrating various add-ons (Ideate, Enscape, Navisworks, etc.)
- Working with point clouds on Scan to BIM projects
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Revit in a professional setting
- Bachelor of Architecture degree (or equivalent degree) is required
- Experience with teaching Revit is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
