Role Description

The Program Manager, Compensation is responsible for supporting Danaher's global compensation programs and interacting with global HR, Finance, and Communication stakeholders across Danaher's operating companies and platforms. This position is a key member of the Total Rewards team and is expected to take a proactive, continuous-improvement approach to Danaher’s major compensation policies, processes, and designs.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Global Compensation, and is part of the Total Rewards function on the Corporate HR team. It is a fully remote role with preference for candidates able to be on-site in our Washington, DC HQ or those in US Central or Eastern time zones.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain and govern Danaher’s global job architecture and compensation data partnerships to ensure market-aligned, equitable, and valued compensation structures.
  • Manage global compensation survey participation and market pricing methodologies to deliver accurate, relevant, and actionable market insights.
  • Partner cross-functionally to deploy compensation technology and analytics that translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Design and deliver clear communication and training materials to support compensation processes, annual planning cycles, and policy application.
  • Drive process excellence and continuous improvement through DBS tools while supporting special projects, corporate actions, and compensation program design.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in related field (concentration in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering preferred)
  • Prefer 3+ years of experience in compensation, preferably in global compensation, in professional services/consulting or in a large global company.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Aptitude for strong project management skills – ability to balance multiple priorities with strong organization while maintaining a high attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Experience working in continuous improvement-oriented cultures

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, compensation data management tools and Workday a plus
  • Fundamental understanding of use cases for Artificial Intelligence and Process Automation
  • Ability to travel – Approximately once a quarter to attend conferences, company events or training, team meetings and/or meetings with other stakeholders
