Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation for complex technical products. This fully remote role requires strong collaboration with engineering, product, and support teams to translate technical concepts into accessible content for diverse audiences.

• Lead the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including:
• API documentation
• User guides and manuals
• Developer documentation
• Release notes
• Knowledge base articles
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, UX, and QA teams to gather technical information.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging documentation.
• Establish and maintain documentation standards, style guides, and best practices.
• Own documentation lifecycle from planning to publication and updates.
• Improve documentation processes, tools, and workflows.
• Contribute to content strategy and information architecture.
• Mentor junior writers and review documentation for accuracy and clarity.
• Ensure documentation aligns with company voice, brand, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in SaaS, software, or technology environments.
• Proven experience documenting APIs, SDKs, and developer platforms.
• Strong understanding of software development concepts (REST APIs, JSON, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure).
• Experience working with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, Git-based workflows, or static site generators.
• Ability to read and understand code (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience working in fully remote, cross-functional teams.
