Role Description

The Executive Assistant provides support to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) executives in Washington, DC performing at a high-level office-oriented, clerical, and coordinating functions.

  • Telephone answering
  • Data entry
  • Meeting coordination
  • Travel arranging
  • Pre-defined task execution

This position is currently remote; however, onsite reporting may be required in the future based on client needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience; or
  • Associate's degree and a minimum of nine (9) years’ relevant experience; or
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a customer public trust clearance for access to facilities, equipment and property.
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to accuracy, detail, and quality.
  • Superior time management and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be detail-oriented and be able to exercise sound judgment while working proactively and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in the use of industry standard office software and applications.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office programs to include SharePoint, OneNote, and Teams.
  • Previous FAA experience preferred.
  • Experience with office calendaring and scheduling, expense management, and E2 travel coordination.
  • May be required to travel to support quarterly customer offsite meetings.

Physical Demands

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls.

  • Required to speak and hear.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Exposed to general office noise with computers, printers, and light traffic.
  • May be required to wear safety and personal protective equipment.
  • This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
  • This position is largely sedentary; however, constant repeating motions may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Seldom lifting of office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds as necessary.

Estimated Pay Range

The estimated pay range for this role is $25 to $27 per hour, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
