Job Description
Job Requirements
- Technical Expertise: 6+ years in web-focused software engineering, with recent, hands-on coding experience.
- Leadership Experience: 4+ years leading and scaling engineering teams, ideally in a player-coach model.
- Modern Tech Stack Skills: Proficiency in Laravel (or similar backend frameworks), Python, Node, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, React (or similar frontend frameworks), CSS-in-JS.
- Product Orientation: Strong ability to evaluate trade-offs, make pragmatic product/engineering decisions, and connect technical work to business outcomes.
- Execution Mindset: Proven history of shipping software reliably and predictably while maintaining quality.
- Collaborative Spirit: Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to adapt based on audience.
- Bias Toward Action: Dependable, decisive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity to drive impact.
