Role Description

We are seeking a Lead AWS Architect to drive the architecture, migration strategy, and technical execution for an enterprise application modernization initiative.

• Migrate a low-code web application and database to AWS
• Establish enterprise-grade Dev/QA/Prod environments
• Implement SSO and multi-tenancy
• Integrate third-party systems
• Transition AI/LLM functionality to IBM Watsonx (or equivalent)

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep AWS expertise, strong delivery ownership, and the ability to coordinate US and offshore engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience
• Proven leadership in AWS migration or modernization programs
• Deep expertise in ECS/Fargate, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• Experience setting up Dev/QA/Prod environments and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience leading offshore teams

Requirements

• AWS Solutions Architect certification (preferred)
• Experience migrating from low-code platforms (preferred)
• Experience integrating enterprise SSO systems (preferred)
• Exposure to AI/LLM implementation (preferred)
• Experience using AI developer tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in delivery environments (preferred)
