Role Description

The Supplier Quality Specialist performs audits at the supplier's premises to verify compliance with regulations.

• Apply best practice procedures to improve quality standards of suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements
• Manage audits with suppliers (e.g. quality system audit in reference to ISO 9001 or root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues)
• Support Purchasing with the supplier approval process (vendor rating)
• Collect and analyze data for KPI reports
• Support the identification of corrective actions
• Implement quality control plan
• Monitor performances of suppliers
• Identify potential issues to improve quality and efficiency

Qualifications

• Professional experience in the role or similar: experience in the field and/or in the production lines > 2 years
• Working experience preferably in multinational context, with similar dimensions
• Experience in manufacturing industries
• Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
• Engineering degree
