Role Description

We’re looking for a high-activity, results-driven Sales Associate who thrives on outbound prospecting and the challenge of building pipeline from the ground up. This role is perfect for someone who loves the hustle of sales - picking up the phone, crafting creative outreach, and driving meaningful conversations with prospective customers.

  • Generate new business opportunities supporting our Commercial Real Estate (CRE) team through a mix of research, outbound engagement, and event participation.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to strategically target CRE accounts, identify decision-makers, and create qualified opportunities that lead to real growth.
  • Combine strategy and execution - from researching accounts and leveraging AI-driven tools to representing Juniper Square with professionalism, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
  • This is a high-impact role with clear opportunities for growth into an Account Executive position.

What you’ll do

  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new business opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent activity levels: 300+ calls and 200+ emails per week - while focusing on quality conversations and qualified meetings.
  • Identify and engage prospects within both assigned and unassigned territories, uncovering new opportunities across the private markets space.
  • Partner with your assigned Account Executives to develop territory strategies, share insights, and align outreach efforts.
  • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI-driven prospecting platforms, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to build and manage a clean, organized pipeline.
  • Monitor industry news, funding announcements, acquisitions, leadership changes, and other trigger events to identify timely outreach opportunities.
  • Support and attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to identify prospects and build relationships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Juniper Square’s platform and the value it delivers to real estate private equity and other private market investors.

Qualifications

  • Proven Cold Calling Experience
  • Demonstrated success in a prior sales or business development role that involved daily/weekly calling and emailing KPIs.
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree preferred (Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, etc.)
  • Experience within the CRE industry preferred
  • Experience attending industry events and driving interest
  • Experience with designing and executing outbound campaigns.
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding monthly/quarterly quotas.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn SalesNav, etc.
  • Experience or strong interest in SaaS, real estate private equity, or financial services technology.

Compensation

Compensation for this position includes a base salary, commissions and a variety of benefits. The U.S. base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
