The Clinical Oncology Pharmacist will serve as a central services team member, providing best-in-class pharmaceutical support, including therapeutic medication monitoring, protocol management, and education to clinical staff. This role involves coordinating the drug therapy process for the Hematology/Oncology patient population, which includes drug selection, dosing, monitoring, and outcomes management.

The specialist is responsible for reviewing all medical insurance claims for resolution and payment, and resolving any incoming inquiries or payment denials from insurance providers. This includes researching, compiling, and responding to documentation requests and contacting carriers to collect on open account balances.

The role involves performing daily tasks for the Managed Care department, including completing daily clinic Accounts Receivables reports and reconciling daily/monthly collection totals. Responsibilities also cover assistance with Intake, Utilization Management duties, managed care approvals, and Financial Aid functions.
