The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining production C++ software for embedded platforms, leading sensor integration, and shaping the deployment and monitoring of computer vision and ML models on edge systems. Responsibilities also include owning end-to-end architecture, setting technical standards for reliability and safety, and evolving build and deployment strategies.

The engineer will be responsible for building reliable pipelines, automating deployments, and contributing to software development primarily in C++ to expand vehicle capabilities, including bringing up new sensors and managing data streams. This involves coordinating between hardware and software, interfacing with hardware-in-the-loop testing, and designing for constrained compute resources.
