The Principal Engineer will lead the productionization of GenAI systems, owning architecture, standards, and production excellence across the stack, including evaluation pipelines, tracing, and safety guardrails. This role involves translating ambiguous product problems into reliable, scalable platform capabilities while mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical direction.

This role involves owning the architecture, productionization, and operational excellence of machine learning and LLM infrastructure, focusing on defining how GenAI systems are evaluated, deployed, monitored, and governed at scale. The engineer will shape standards across model integration, evaluation frameworks, inference systems, and AI/ML workflow automation while operating at the intersection of AI engineering, distributed systems, and platform architecture.

This role involves taking end-to-end ownership of complex full-stack systems powering the GenAI platform, building and shipping production-grade AI capabilities across evaluation pipelines, tracing systems, platform APIs, and developer UI. The engineer will implement and improve observability, telemetry, and AI tracing systems while contributing to architectural discussions and engineering standards.

This role involves owning the end-to-end user journey, identifying friction points, and translating structured user insights into clear product, messaging, and prioritization recommendations for senior leadership. The lead will define and evolve positioning for GenAI builders, ensuring product releases are grounded in user needs and measured by adoption.
