The role involves infusing the learning journey with empathy, building professional relationships, and designing synchronous/asynchronous student connection opportunities. Faculty must also offer strategic career coaching and conduct bi-weekly office seminars for mentorship.

The adjunct faculty will design and/or deliver an innovative General Education course titled How to “Be Creative” in Partnership with Computation & Machine Learning, exploring the intersection of computer science, art, and design while engaging with ethical questions. Responsibilities also include collaborating on curriculum development, implementing inclusive teaching practices, and participating in course assessment design and review.

The faculty member will support the design and/or delivery of an innovative General Education course focused on real-life mathematics, ethical dimensions of data, and responsible problem-solving. Responsibilities include implementing student-centered teaching practices, collaborating on curriculum refinement, and engaging in course assessment activities.
