The role is responsible for preparing statistical reports and coding diseases and operations according to accepted classification systems. This includes maintaining indices in accordance with established policies and procedures.

This role oversees and completes all standard appeals within a designated market for behavioral health facilities, managing appeal inventory through tracking and monitoring. The specialist acts as a liaison with local facilities and payers to ensure timely appeal processing and facility reimbursement, while also participating in facility UM team meetings.

Psychiatrists will conduct scheduled Telemedicine Medication Management sessions and embrace innovative telemedicine approaches for patient care delivery. Responsibilities also include documenting patient interactions, orders, maintaining electronic health records, and utilizing Zoom and EHR access.

The primary responsibility involves providing telephone on-call coverage for psychiatric admissions via telemedicine systems. Psychiatrists are expected to deliver exceptional patient care remotely from a home or office setting.

This is a remote On-call Clinical Liaison position providing coverage for the Emergency Department and emergency floors, which includes supervising Nurse Practitioners. The schedule involves two shifts daily, seven days a week, covering Pacific time zones.
