The copy editor provides editorial services including substantive editing, copy editing, proofreading, and research for all content types to ensure current, accurate information and consistent messaging regarding VCU and its community. Key activities involve independently proofreading and editing content for nomenclature, spelling, grammar, style, tone, and accuracy according to deadlines and DAR Communications style, including AP Style.

The primary responsibility is providing high-quality, subspecialized neuroradiology interpretations during daytime shifts on a 7-days-on/7-days-off schedule, supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services remotely. This includes interpreting various neuroimaging studies and promptly communicating critical findings to referring providers.
