Job Description

• Lead the design, evaluation, and optimization of compensation programs, including base pay, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, sales compensation, and executive rewards • Align compensation strategies with business objectives, product lifecycles, and commercialization models specific to medical devices • Advise on pay-for-performance frameworks, incentive plan effectiveness, and talent retention strategies • Ensure compliance with U.S. and regional regulations, including Fair Pay/Pay Equity laws, SEC disclosure requirements, and relevant healthcare compliance considerations • Conduct market pricing using industry-specific and general compensation surveys • Develop job architectures, career frameworks, and leveling structures aligned with market benchmarks • Analyze compensation data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, present insights clearly to senior stakeholders • Serve as a primary compensation advisor for client engagements, building long-term, trusted relationships • Translate complex compensation concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for HR leaders, executives, and boards • Design and support pay governance frameworks, including policies, guidelines, and approval processes • Lead or support pay equity analyses and remediation strategies • Stay current on compensation trends, regulatory changes, and emerging practices in the medical devices sector

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Professional certification preferred (CCP, GRP, CECP, or equivalent)
  • 10+ years of progressive compensation experience, including consulting or advisory roles
  • Demonstrated experience supporting medical device, life sciences, or closely related healthcare organizations
  • Strong background in U.S. compensation practices; broader Americas experience is a plus
  • Advanced expertise in compensation design, incentive plans, and market pricing
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; advanced Excel required (HR analytics tools a plus)
