Job Description
• Process regular and off-cycle US and Canada payroll, including collecting payroll inputs and calculating payroll to ensure timely payment to employees
• Ensure all payroll transactions comply with internal policies and procedures, as well as government regulations, including timely tax payments and document filing
• Provide support to team members when needed by acting as a backup and participating in knowledge sharing
• Keep process documentation up to date and suggest improvements to promote efficiency and systems optimization
• Deliver exceptional support to employees and stakeholders, resolving tickets and requests promptly and ensuring regular communication
• Collaborate with other departments to support payroll-related projects and initiatives
Job Requirements
- University degree in finance, accounting, management, or equivalent professional payroll training/coursework
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience
- Understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations across various jurisdictions
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to payroll
- Competence in auditing payroll records and reports for accuracy and compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in managing the execution of defined actions and monitoring completion with multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
