Job Description
• Install, configure, administer, manage, and document MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL (MongoDB) in high availability
• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
• Advise management regarding integration of IT programs
• Lead engineering and architecture activities related to database performance monitoring
• Develop new theories, concepts, and principles to improve data stores
• Manage database assets including maintenance of inventory and documentation
• Provide expert level DBA services across platforms
• Collaborate with developers to perform physical database design
• Recommend design changes to enhance user experience
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of related experience
- Must be US Citizen
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Strong command-line experience including AWS CLI, PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting skills
- Administering SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL (MongoDB) technologies
- Ability to perform complex command-line scripts and SQL queries
- Experience with AWS RDS Administration
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally
