Job Description
Job Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 10-12+ years of relevant legal experience, including significant in-house and/or law firm experience supporting technology, SaaS, cloud, or cybersecurity organizations
- Demonstrated experience advising on information governance, data governance, AI governance, or closely related areas in a complex enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity laws and regulations, information governance rules and standards, and emerging AI regulatory frameworks
- Deep technical aptitude, with the ability to understand complex systems, data flows, and technical architectures
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, IT, and GRC teams
- Experience drafting and operationalizing policies, standards, and procedures at enterprise scale
- Strong ownership mindset, sound judgment, and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
- Proven leadership in managing people and projects
- Ability to develop a thorough understanding of facts before providing advice, and to deliver practical, business-oriented legal guidance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal and technical concepts for various audiences.
