Job Description
Role Description
The Operations Analyst is responsible for activities related to operational excellence across the Omron companies and third party logistics providers. The main focus is to:
- Identify and solve operational issues
- Create/review warehouse processes
- Create operational solutions
- Achieve KPI targets
- Monitor the third party logistics company’s responsiveness
This position requires attention to detail and a focus on process improvement to ensure that we meet our goals of operational excellence and communication in a fast-paced environment. This role will be challenged to be innovative, analytical, and think differently in a world-class end-to-end logistics and operations process.
Qualifications
- 1+ years in warehousing, inventory management, logistics, operations environment, comfortable with learning new technology
- BS in supply management, operations or engineering
- Technology oriented with strong knowledge of Outlook, MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge/experience with ERP systems including JDEdwards preferred
- Expert in a request management system
- Demonstrates attention to detail, strong organization skills and can communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written
- 15% travel with the Americas is possible
Requirements
- The pay range for this role is $31-$33 per hour, however, pay offered may vary depending on internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
- This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus program
