Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree required plus 2-3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry
- Additional certifications in sales, business development, or relevant technical areas beneficial
- Strong understanding of scientific workflows, laboratory operations, and industry trends
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets and building successful client relationships
- Expert proficiency in CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite
- Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and communication skills in business environment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and influence without direct authority
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to develop strategic solutions
- Self-directed with exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% as needed to support territory requirements
- Fluency in English required; additional languages valuable for international roles
- Experience with CDMO services, laboratory products, or relevant technical solutions preferred
- Proven ability to maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex customer requirements
