Job Description
As an AI‑first Quality Engineer, you will accelerate the reliability and velocity of our mobile product releases. You will leverage generative AI and intelligent tooling to reduce manual effort, and define modern quality strategies. You will also collaborate closely with the quality engineering team to maintain, build, and test other aspects of the application. This is a hands‑on, technical role that requires experience with automated testing, an understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to partner with engineers to achieve a consistently high bar for quality.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for both functional and non‑functional testing.
- Implement best practices for test automation to ensure efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
- Continuously explore and integrate modern automation techniques to improve the overall testing process.
Testing Infrastructure
- Help maintain and improve the testing infrastructure, including support for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline test environments and ensure seamless integration with the development lifecycle.
- Monitor and tune the testing infrastructure to ensure reliable and effective operation.
Testing Methodologies
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies that cover the full spectrum of testing needs.
- Ensure testing methodologies align with industry best practices and the organization's quality standards.
- Partner with development and product teams to drive a shift‑left approach throughout the SDLC.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Software, Test, or QA Engineering roles.
- Strong technical background in test automation and infrastructure as code.
- Ability to explain deep technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with a broad range of functional areas.
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, etc.
- Experience with object‑oriented languages and frameworks such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, etc.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
