Job Description

This role focuses on the service and repair of a broad range of medical equipment, including sterilizers and anesthesia machines, primarily within ambulatory surgery centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of medical equipment, with a focus on sterilizers and anesthesia machines.
- Ensure all equipment meets necessary safety and performance standards.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and calibration of medical equipment.
- Perform biomedical inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Train and support clinical staff on the proper use of equipment.
- Manage service records and documentation of all maintenance activities.
- Provide on-call technical support and perform emergency repairs as needed.
- Adhere to national and international standards for medical equipment safety and performance.
- Travel to various sites for repairs, installations, and routine service as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (over 50% of the time).
- Basic technical skills and a keen interest in biomedical equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with medical staff and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Desired Skills
- Any certification or hands-on experience with biomedical equipment (e.g., Mindray, GE, Primus, Steris, Getinge, Tuttnauer) is a plus.
- Experience with software and hardware integration in medical devices.
- Knowledge of current medical device regulations and compliance requirements.
