Pay Range
$20.80 - $31.20Join our team as a Care Coordinator Auth Scheduling Specialist, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring patients receive timely, well-coordinated care. In this position, you’ll partner closely with patients, providers, and insurance plans to manage referrals, obtain authorizations, and schedule essential services. Essential Functions
- Complete and process patient referrals, coordinating between referring and receiving practices or departments.
- Prepare and communicate financial estimates for patients as needed.
- Secure all required authorizations to ensure timely patient care.
- Guide patients toward providers within their insurance network.
- Review benefits and educate patients on insurance coverage and financial responsibility.
- Schedule surgical procedures, diagnostic testing, and other clinical services with internal and external providers.
- Review daily schedules to ensure accuracy, proper time allocation, and efficient workflow.
- Follow up on all referrals to prevent care gaps and support seamless patient experiences.
Education, Experience & Certification Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior computer experience required.
- Strong understanding of insurance coverage (FSC/Coverage/Plan types) and medical necessity guidelines preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records or medical record software preferred.
- Customer service experience required.

- Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
