Job Description

• Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams actively (I.e. Product and Project Management, Development, Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance, and training teams) • Update test plan documentation to keep current with frequent requirement changes • Identify gaps or ambiguities in EDI requirements • Research, analyze, and understand data elements in EDI systems, as well as inbound and outbound vendor systems • Validate mapping between internal systems and EDI formats (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON) • Ensure correct translation of fields, segments, loops, qualifiers, and codes • Improve content in response to feedback from cross -functional and colleagues in a timely manner • Adapt quickly to new scenarios that require specific skill sets and have high levels of ambiguity • Have experience in SQL experience (Oracle and/or DB2/Postgre SQL) • Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured • Knowledge of using Azure-DevOps(ADO) and JIRA • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and process • Have experience in defining test strategy spanning across multiple systems, writing test plans

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in EDI experience, specifically involving platform or system migrations.
  • Experience with waterfall and agile SDLC methodologies
  • Natural curiosity in synthesizing technical details into easily consumable information
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies in a fast-paced environment
  • Quick learner and self-starter, works well under pressure and timelines
  • Positive attitude, can-do spirit, attention to detail, and passion for technical writing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to meet deadlines, and to simultaneously tackle and coordinate multiple projects
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Exposure to Health care industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with multiple file types including csv, pipe-delimited, fixed-width, xlsx, etc.
  • Familiarity with file transfer protocols, specifically sFTP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance
  • Familiarity with adjudication systems is a plus
  • Experience collaborating with offshore team
  • Familiarity in handling sensitive and confidential data
