Job Description

Role Responsibilities:

As a member of the Brokerage Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients across brokerage workflows. You will partner with brokers and cross-functional teams to deliver value throughout the entire customer lifecycle — from initial sale through binding, billing, and renewals. You will also support clients and internal and external stakeholders with post-bind service requests and ongoing policy maintenance.

This role offers the opportunity to join a growing, agile team where you will gain deep exposure to the operational systems and processes that power a best-in-class brokerage.

What you'll do:

Being in Operations, this role is a bit of a swiss army knife supporting a wide range of brokerage activities.

  • Deliver timely, consistent responses to client and internal/external stakeholder inquiries
  • Maintain and update policy data and documentation within our AMS and CRM, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Manage specialty policy servicing requests, including binding, cancellations, endorsements, billing inquiries, surplus lines filings, and other policy maintenance activities
  • Support certificate of insurance requests, partnering closely with Brokerage Ops Associate Support Representatives
  • Partner with brokers, carriers, wholesalers, and internal teams to support policy servicing and maintenance
  • Coordinate with clients and billing partners to resolve billing-related matters
  • Identify opportunities to add value for brokers through proactive follow-ups and operational improvements
  • Assist in documenting and refining day-to-day processes to improve operational efficiency

About you:

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment
  • 1+ year of experience in an insurance-related role
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Driven by problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Dependable, positive, and action-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and maintaining composure in complex situations
  • Independent problem-solver who knows when to seek guidance
  • Ability to prioritize and manage high volumes of requests

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience working (Salesforce, Veruna)
  • Exposure to and passion for early-stage startups and/or high-growth environments
