Role Description

Summer 2026 Production Internship:

  • Applications close: March 16, 2026 at 11:59pm PT
  • Program Dates: June 8 - August 14, 2026
  • Time Commitment: Full-Time (40 hours per week required)
  • Format: In Person or Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Image Finaling is a digital paint fix department at the end of the animated feature production pipeline that specializes in creative and technical fixes done in Nuke to resolve any render related issues and creative requests.
  • The goal of the internship will be to give candidates real world experience within the animated feature film pipeline while working alongside industry professionals.
  • The intern will work closely with IMF production staff as well as the IMF supervisor and IMF leads.
  • The intern will be given proper training and then eventually entry level feature shots to work on. This will be a structured process with weekly check-ins.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Nuke
  • Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date)
  • Must feel comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • If in person, must be willing to work in Glendale, California
  • Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Requirements

  • Experience with Photoshop is a plus

  • Hourly Rate: $17.87
