File Release Clerk
The primary responsibility of the File Release Clerk is to ensure they gather, sort and log all requests per contractual requirements. This position supports the Case Processing Operation Center (CPOC) within our Defense and Intel Operating Group.
Key Role/Responsibilities
- Sort workload and prepare it to enable it to be assigned
- Send completed work to Federal Agencies
- Communicate with Federal Agencies
- Enter adjudication codes into designated system
- Distribute emails to appropriate locations
- Stay up-to-date on all Operations Manual changes.
- Develop and maintain a rapport with entire team as well as individual members to ensure work is meeting identified goals.
- Monitor email requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute (WPM)
- Knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures of the organization, department, and all handbooks.
- Basic computer/office machine literacy (PIPS, OPM LAN, Microsoft Office, fax, and copier)
- May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours, which may include overtime, weekends and holidays.
- Effectively communicate with team members both written and orally.
- US Citizenship, due to nature of work performed and contract requirement.
- Must pass a government background investigation.
- Work will be performed primarily remote. Must be willing to work onsite for business and training purposes.
- Must reside within 1 hour driving distance from work location in Boyers, PA
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working in the Government services industry is preferred.
- Physical activity requiring finger dexterity, repetitive motions, Multitasking talking and hearing.
- Ability to sit for an extended period of time.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety rules and regulations.
