Job Description
• Partner with coaches and leaders to continue the organization’s Agile transformation.
• Build trust and strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills.
• Educate people across levels and roles on Agile principles and best practices.
• Mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Agile teams, and leaders on Agile best practices.
• Coach value streams, teams, leaders, and individuals to strengthen Agile and Lean practices and increase value delivery.
• Observe teams and ways of working, identify gaps, and introduce opportunities for improvement.
• Work with managers to define strategies for transitioning to Lean-Agile practices.
• Partner with change agents and stakeholders to help them become effective Lean-Agile champions.
• Collaborate with a team of Agile Coaches to deliver a unified message across communications.
• Create and train on Agile metrics, leveraging tools and approaches to demonstrate value and foster an environment of innovation, improvement, collaborative solutions, trust, and safety.
Job Requirements
- Proven expertise in Agile principles, values, and industry best practices, with the ability to coach teams toward Agile maturity.
- Experience coaching and mentoring across Agile roles, including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Agile teams, and leadership.
- Experience coaching value streams and enabling Lean and Agile process optimization for improved value delivery.
- Strong facilitation, teaching, and workshop development skills, including creating reusable learning resources (documentation, training, videos, newsletters, and other resources).
- Ability to create user stories and acceptance criteria to express requirements.
- Experience providing product management support, including prioritization and backlog grooming, and guiding business/product teams toward iterative delivery.
- Strong knowledge of Agile metrics, including awareness of improper use or interpretation.
- Ability to constructively resolve conflict and build trust, with an understanding of team dynamics and the psychology of teams.
- Ability to build communities of practice and learning forums (for example, CoPs, book clubs, lunch and learns) to broaden Agile understanding.
- Experience using Jira to create filters, boards, dashboards, and plan view.
