Role Description

This is a full time, remote and permanent role as per the US Central timezone. The Chief of Staff / Human Resources Director serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership while overseeing all human resources functions. This role ensures operational excellence, organizational alignment, talent development, and compliance with employment regulations. The position combines executive-level coordination with full-spectrum HR leadership.

  • Executive & Strategic Leadership (Chief of Staff Function)
    • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO/Executive Team.
    • Oversee execution of company goals and strategic initiatives.
    • Coordinate cross-departmental projects and ensure alignment.
    • Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and board presentations.
    • Monitor KPIs and operational performance metrics.
    • Improve internal processes and organizational efficiency.
  • Human Resources Leadership
    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
    • Design compensation, benefits, and retention strategies.
    • Lead performance management and employee evaluation systems.
    • Develop training and leadership development programs.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
    • Build a strong organizational culture and engagement initiatives.
  • Policy & Compliance
    • Develop and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
    • Ensure compliance with local and international labor regulations.
    • Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Organizational Development
    • Drive change management initiatives.
    • Improve employee engagement and retention.
    • Analyze workforce data to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • HR certifications (SHRM, CIPD, PHR, SPHR) are a plus.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
  • Experience working directly with C-level executives.
  • Proven experience managing recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Strong background in strategic planning and operations.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical ability.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and performance management tools.

Preferred Qualities

  • Experience in scaling organizations.
  • Strong emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to build high-performance teams.
  • Experience in remote or international workforce management (if applicable).
