Job Description
Role Description
This role involves assisting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) with various tasks related to the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT).
- Pre-and post-tournament press releases
- Data entry
- Tour promotions
- Tournament yardages
- HJGT rankings and points
- HJGT yardages, ratings, and slope
- HJGT tee times released 3 days before the first round
- Results submissions and HJGT points distributions
- Surveys
- Weekly report on events
- Operations calendar
- Tournament registration items
- Organization and follow up on the tour's management system, monday.com
- Assist with hotel logistics for OPS teams when needed
- MISC tasks to be given from COO on a weekly basis
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Business/Sports Management/Marketing or other related fields
- Must be within good standing of your College/University
Requirements
- This is an unpaid internship, and you must receive at least one (1) credit for the onsite experience from an accredited College/University.
Experience/Skills
- Business/Marketing experience preferred
- Golf Knowledge preferred
- Ability to Multitask in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Goal oriented
- Result driven
