THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior BSG Functional Consultant to join our North America Business Solutions Group. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert, clearly articulating the value of Temenos solutions to clients, prospects, and partners, and demonstrating how our technology addresses their specific business challenges. You will build and maintain strong relationships across C‑Level, mid‑management, and operational teams, acting as a trusted functional advisor throughout the sales cycle.
RESPONSIBILITES
- You will collaborate with the sales team to qualify leads, understand FIs requirements, and take end-to-end accountability of a bid for business/functional aspects of the solution.
- You will serve as the Lead for any sales opportunities, in addition to being an individual contributor.
- You will own and deliver presentation demos and compelling proposals, including responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and RFPs (Request for Proposals).
- You will gather client feedback and insights to inform product development and enhancements.
- You will create and maintain quality functional documentation including solution architecture diagrams, and use of BSG tools for internal updates.
- You will develop a deep understanding of Temenos solutions and SaaS services and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- You will offer post-sales functional support as needed to ensure client success.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, services, support, marketing, client engagement, bid management, and partners, to align sales strategies with company goals.
- You will provide feedback to Product Management on product enhancements.
SKILLS
- You should have previous experience in the Banking/ Fintech Industry across Core Banking, Payments and/or Digital Banking capabilities
- You should have an appetite to work across different financial institutions & understand their requirements – large & mid-sized traditional banks, challenger banks & non-banking financial institutions.
- You should have a strong familiarization with US banking practices, regulations, and operations.
You should have exposure to at least one of the following:
- Pre- Sales, Sales Banking Operations, Product Management, Business Analyst (Banking SME), System implementations of Front Office/Back Office Systems.
- You should have good listening & story-telling skills through various mediums such as whiteboarding & MS Office Tools.
- You should have the ability to research and understand the needs of a prospect’s business, ecosystem, competition, and business & technology drivers.
- You should have analytical thinking with consultative mind set to create best-fit solution.
- You should have excellent presentation, writing and deal management skills across all levels of leadership.
- You should have the ability and willingness to travel domestic and international as required (up to 50% travel).
- You should be able to work well in an independent as well as team environment with effective communication with peers.
- You should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be hands-on with the latest product enhancements.
