Role Description
AmeriSave is currently hiring Purchase Mortgage Bankers to join our team. In this consultative role, you will receive pre-approval transfers and guide borrowers through the home buying process by providing expert advice to help them navigate and evaluate the best loan program and pricing options available to them. This position focuses on delivering exceptional borrower support during the initial stages of the loan process with no pipeline management, outbound sales calls or follow-up responsibilities required.
This is a remote opportunity to work from home.
- Serve as a trusted consultant to purchase borrowers, answering questions and providing guidance to help them evaluate AmeriSave’s options throughout the home loan selection process
- Understand borrower’s needs and recommend optimal loan products and pricing options based on financial needs, goals and qualifications
- Establish an ongoing relationship by delivering best-in-class customer service
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company loan products, pricing structures and multi-state regulations
Qualifications
- Recent mortgage loan origination experience required; call center environment preferred
- Purchase experience is required
- Must have a significant licensing footprint
- Must meet all Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) requirements
- Understanding of mortgage regulatory guidelines
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to quickly connect and establish a great rapport with people
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling competing priorities effectively
- Self-motivated, driven, high-energy and a positive attitude
- Detail oriented and results driven
- Strong desire to succeed in a sales environment and to be a top producer
- Proactive with a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Requirements

- The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $19.00 - $25.00.
- Target annual compensation for this position is $60,000 - $140,000.
