Job Description

Summary

This role is responsible for their branches or region’s credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of company sales and bad debt losses.

Areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Interface with sales organization to communicate credit decisions and ensure timely review of new customers.
  • Plan and organize activities of credit / customer set up to ensure they are completed timely / accurately.
  • Work with branch to obtain correct job documentation, payment terms and credit information for customers to ensure transactions are properly secured.
  • Resolve credit issues with customers.
  • Communicate credit policy with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage customer credit files.
  • Manage Lien filings, NTO’s, and Waivers via 3rd party software process.
  • Monitor periodic credit reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge

  • 2+ years of Credit Management experience.
  • Experience in Excel and ERP systems.
  • Experience in distribution and/or building and construction industry is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions in accordance with company objectives.
  • Strong analytical credit skills.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Pacific Time Zone business hours required.

POSITION LOCATION

Remote home office located in MST or PST time zone.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.

Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.

Compensation Range

$17.30 - $25.97

The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
