Job Description

• The Applications Analyst III is a senior business specialist and technology generalist responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies • Proactively identifying opportunities to apply technologies to business processes by informing and advising customers • Functions as technical liaison and broker of services with various vendors • Acts as internal consultant, providing technical guidance or business process expertise on complex projects • Maintain active Epic Bridges Certification in accordance with Epic requirements, including completion of all continuing education and upgrade training

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or experience
  • Active Epic Bridges Certification Required
  • At least 3 -5 years of experience in either business application design, development, and installation, or significant healthcare background with demonstrated abilities in the applications arena
  • Preferred Certifications: 1.ASAP Emergency Department 2.Resolute Hospital Billing Administration 3.EpicCare Ambulatory 4.EpicCare Inpatient Procedure Orders 5.EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation 6.HIM Release of Information 7.HIM Coding and Abstracting
  • Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement is desirable
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that is understandable to the business
  • Strong understanding of project management concepts and documentation in planning and implementing multiple projects in a cross functional environment
