Job Description
Position Overview
The Member Care Advisor is a full-time remote position focused on delivering exceptional service and support to NCD members and providers.
Selected active-duty service members will begin in a structured SkillBridge training and onboarding period prior to separation from the military. Upon completion of military service, the participant will transition into full-time employment with NCD in this role.
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound and outbound communication with members and providers
- Support clients via phone, email, and chat
- Review member policies and answer questions regarding benefits, billing, enrollment updates, and disputes
- Accurately document all interactions in CRM systems
- Escalate complex issues appropriately
- Maintain working knowledge of products and services
- Meet performance goals related to service quality, KPIs, attendance, and schedule adherence
- Build trust with members and improve retention
Structured Onboarding & Training
During the SkillBridge period, participants will:
- Complete 2–4 weeks of structured remote training
- Learn insurance fundamentals and product knowledge
- Receive systems training (CRM, communication platforms, internal tools)
- Shadow experienced team members
- Gradually assume live member interactions with coaching support
- Receive regular feedback and performance development guidance

Qualifications
- Active-duty service member within 180 days of separation
- 2+ years of customer service or administrative experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and computer systems
- Ability to multitask across multiple platforms
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
