Through our deep technical expertise and high-performance culture, we deliver confidence-inspiring quality, safety and value to our customers. Our blend of industry expertise and experience – today’s insight and tomorrow’s foresight – gives us a unique perspective on our industry that is trusted by over 600 customers across six continents. With regional hubs in Europe, Asia and the USA we’re perfectly placed to keep fleets flying and get deals done. That’s the AerFin way. That’s the way ahead.

About AerFin

As AerFin continues its global growth and expands its Engine Division, we are seeking a Product Line Director – Engines to lead commercial execution across key engine platforms in the US market.

You will hold full commercial ownership of assigned engine product lines, driving asset strategy, supplier engagement and lifecycle value. Operating with significant autonomy, you will influence decisions across asset acquisition, piece‑part trading, repair strategy and customer alignment, working closely with our US customer and supplier network.

You will collaborate with Sales, Repairs, Pricing, Finance and Operations to maximise asset returns, optimise capital deployment, and strengthen margin performance across the engine lifecycle.

If you are commercially astute, market‑driven and energised by trading accountability within a fast‑paced aviation aftermarket environment, we would like to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own P&L performance for assigned engine product lines, delivering revenue, margin and inventory turn targets.

  • Identify and execute asset-level and piece‑part purchasing opportunities aligned with global demand.

  • Develop and implement purchasing and trading strategies to optimise capital deployment and maximise lifecycle returns.

  • Partner with Sales and Business Development to align inventory and trading strategy with market demand and campaigns.

  • Work with FP&A to track market trends and adjust trading strategy to maximise pricing and margin.

  • Oversee teardown strategy and USM extraction to drive value creation.

  • Ensure all asset records, Back-to-birth documentation, LLP trace and compliance paperwork meet regulatory and commercial standards.

  • Monitor market activity, competitor behaviour and fleet trends to proactively adapt product line strategy.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, airlines, lessors, MROs and key partners.

  • Support forecasting, valuations and capital planning.

  • Lead and mentor junior supply chain team members as required.

What You'll Ideally Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Business, Finance or similar (MBA a plus)

  • 8–12+ years’ experience in aviation aftermarket, engine trading, product line or asset management

  • Proven P&L accountability and commercial trading experience

  • Strong understanding of engine aftermarket dynamics, USM trading, teardown and repair management

  • Knowledge of engine maintenance programmes, LLP management, SB/AD requirements and technical records

  • Experience in supplier negotiation and MRO relationship management

  • Strong financial acumen (valuation, margin optimisation, capital deployment)

  • Established US engine‑aftermarket network (highly desirable)

  • Ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast‑paced environment

  • Strong leadership skills with cross‑functional global experience

In Return We Offer

  • Life insurance

  • 401k Plan

  • Health Care Benefits

  • Bonus Plan

  • Grandternity Leave

  • Appreciation & Festive Rewards

  • 21 days' vacation days and much more
