This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a data-driven professional passionate about building scalable business intelligence infrastructure that drives informed decision-making. As Manager, Business Intelligence Data Solutions, you will lead a team responsible for designing and optimizing data models, pipelines, and analytics frameworks that empower cross-functional stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with Product and Technology teams to ensure seamless data integration and resource alignment. This role blends technical expertise with people leadership, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement. - Design, oversee, and optimize data models and data feeds that power business intelligence reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Manage and mentor direct reports, building technical capabilities through coaching, structured training, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with Product and Technology teams on sprint planning, resource allocation, and throughput optimization.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, JIRA case scoping, and documentation aligned with internal processes and best practices.
- Support quality control activities across data connection and model development processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional data requirements and troubleshoot technical system integrations as needed.
- Support enterprise data requests and develop advanced BI skills across the team, including workflow analysis and business process evaluation.
- Promote accountability for deliverables while escalating risks that may impact customer or operational outcomes.
- Lead onboarding, training materials development, and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience in a data, analytics, or Business Intelligence role.
- Advanced technical proficiency in DataBricks, Snowflake, or comparable data environments.
- Strong expertise in Excel, DBT, data modeling, and business analysis methodologies.
- Experience with BI visualization tools such as Tableau and data integration tools such as Fivetran is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and professional development oversight.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to guide teams toward actionable solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, adaptable to audiences ranging from executives to technical users.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and maintain effective feedback channels.
- High level of accountability, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
