About the role

The Project Manager I role will ensure that Perceptive's research projects are conducted on time and within budget by leading the internal project teams and collaborating with our sponsors and clinical CRO partners. As the primary point of contact between Perceptive and our partners you will be responsible for providing regular operational updates and working with the internal team members to provide support and assistance on a variety of tasks that will facilitate successful study conduct.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading and managing early and late phase imaging projects by utilizing project management tools to plan, track, prioritize and communicate timelines and deliverables to the internal and external teams
  • Manage the study to contract specifications and timelines, including proactive management of budget, pass-through costs and change orders as necessary
  • Ability to lead the internal team, prioritize the work of team members based off timelines, and resolve problems that arise that could impact study timeline or budget.
  • Prepare project plans and manage various study projects in varied phases of study lifecycle
  • Actively manage the timelines considering impact on resources and revenue forecasting
  • Organize and hold regularly scheduled project team meetings with the client and internal teams, managing the agenda, meeting minutes and actions

Functional Competencies (Technical knowledge/Skills)

  •   Strong project management, analytical, problem solving, strategic and organizational skills
  •   Able to identify issues and as needed, work with the appropriate team member(s) to resolve issues affecting project scope, quality, effort, risk and timelines
  •   Knowledge of GCP and ICH regulations and guidelines and the application to the conduct of clinical research
  •   Ability to work in strict compliance with all SOPs, rules and regulations (Regulated environment)
  •  Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills Excellent written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal skills required

Experience, Education, and Certifications

  • BA/BS in a scientific/medical field or equivalent industry experience
  • PMP certification preferred, but not required.
  • Experience working in a compliance regulated environment
  • ·       2 years of experience in a project manager role
  • English: Fluent
