Role Description

This role involves building the Operating System that powers the $18B Credit Collections industry.

• Maintaining our AWS infrastructure
• Scalable & Maintainable Backend Feature Development (Python Experience is Required)
• Scalable & Maintainable API/SFTP Integrations (Experience is Required)
• Monitoring and troubleshooting Postgres DB (adding/removing indexes, partitioning/sharding)
• Maintaining developer environments
• Managing CI pipelines and runners
• Setting up and managing alerting systems
• Providing on-call support and guidance to other developers to triage issues

Qualifications

• Backend Engineer Expertise:
• Python/Django (Django required)
• Python + DB Performance optimization (Required)
• API / SFTP Integrations (must have experience)
• Feature Development experience
• DevOps/SRE Expertise:
• Comfortable with AWS, Maintaining EKS (Kubernetes on AWS)
• Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Github Actions, AWS, Postgres, Redis

Requirements

• 5+ Years of Professional Software Development Experience
• 2+ Years of Professional SRE/DevOps Experience
• Professional experience maintaining/enhancing Kubernetes cluster via IaaC (Terraform experience preferred)
• Professional experience with Python (2+ years required)
• Strong fundamental understanding and usage of a RDBMS (Postgres preferred)
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS
• Solid engineering fundamentals and passion for high-quality code
• Product intuition, user empathy, ability to make sound UX decisions
• Strong work ethic, end-to-end ownership mentality
