Role Description

The Database Administrator will be responsible for maintaining existing databases and designing new database solutions.

• Maintain existing database (SQL Server (primary), MySQL, Postgres)
• Design and implement new database solutions
• Work in an area of growth opportunity for SS&C and our client

Qualifications

• High level of energy and passion
• Strong sense of professional accountability and integrity
• Good inter-personal, verbal and written communication skills
• An aptitude for problem solving, crisis management, and time management
• 5+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required
• Strong technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design patterns, and implementation
• Strong experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with responsibilities spanning both Application DBA and Production Support DBA roles
• Hands-on experience working in private cloud environments or major cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

Requirements

• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, and Postgres
• Ability to design and implement database solutions
