Role Description

Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism seeks a Membership Intern who will work closely with the Director of Programs to support membership engagement and retention for BLUU.

• Conduct one-on-one membership check-in calls and an accompanying membership report.
• Update BLUU membership rolls.
• Plan and host one BLUU program during internship.
• Assist with social media communications as directed.
• Assist in creation of member engagement tracking and evaluation systems.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or ability to use data management systems such as CRMs.
• Experience in one-to-one outreach, sales, or interviewing.
• Familiarity with and excitement to contribute to Black spiritual communities.

Requirements

• Internship lasts from April 1, 2026 until June 30, 2026.
• Interns should expect to work 10-14 hours a week.
• Intern will receive $1960 a month for the duration of their internship.

Benefits

• Compensation of $1960 monthly.
