Job Description
Description
Parent Company Summary – Forge Specialty Partners
Forge Specialty Partners is a non-traditional DSO (Dental Service Organization) started in 2023 by the owners of Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery with the goal of providing the benefits of a larger organization without selling a company entirely to a third party interest, backed by Private Equity shareholder investments, and turning clinician-owners into employees. Though Forge is the parent company and acts formally as the employer, the position to which you are applying will only focus on the activities of two affiliate companies: Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery, and Savannah Oral and Facial Surgery.
Practice Summary – Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery
Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery (COAFS) has been in practice in the Charleston area since 2005, originally located on James Island on Wappoo Creek Drive. In the last 19 years, the practice has grown from a single provider, single location office to a 10-locaion, 8-provider practice serving the greater Lowcountry. Headed by the three owners - Dr. Edward Strauss, Dr. Aaron Sarathy, and Dr. Drane Oliphant - the COAFS team is driven by the goal of providing the “Ultimate Patient Experience – every single time” for all patients and referring providers. The growth planned for 2025 and beyond will allow the COAFS experience to reach a greater patient population in the Charleston, Hilton Head Island, and Savannah regions.?
Mission
Our mission is to provide our patients with exceptional oral and maxillofacial care through state-of-the-art procedures delivered by a caring and dedicated staff. Here at COAFS, we are constantly striving to be the premiere oral and maxillofacial surgery provider in the Southeast. The success of our brand is based on collaborative leadership, compassion, constant learning, and the use of cutting-edge technology, that will leave our patients and our team with the ultimate experience.?
Vision
We want to increase access to high quality specialty care to the residents of the greater Lowcountry by continuing to increase our regional footprint, reducing costs to patients through increasingly tailored digital workflows at the cutting-edge of the industry, and by prioritizing people over profits.?
Purpose
Our purpose is to provide services and education to improve dental health, facial aesthetics and oral function, resulting in a healthier population.
