Role Description
This student internship is being offered as a part of EO's Ignite Internships program and is for high school students only. This internship is offered in partnership with CGI. Students will be employed by CGI and all hiring decisions will be made by CGI personnel. There is the possibility of two interns to be placed in this position.
CGI has exciting and rewarding internships with our Environmental, Social and Governance Business Partner team. This team supports member-partners in achieving our ESG goals through frameworks, best practices, and reporting. At CGI, our ESG strategy is key to contributing to our strategic goal to be recognized by our stakeholders as an engaged, ethical, and responsible corporate citizen within our communities. We prioritize partnerships with clients, while also collaborating with educational institutions and local organizations, on three global priorities: people, communities, and climate.
This intern will help support members of our business at all levels of the company. There are a number of projects you may be part of in this role:
- Integrating sustainable business practices at CGI
- Creating STEM trainings
- Updating existing tools and applications
- Supporting corporate social responsibility (CSR) and STEM programming
