Role Description
The Senior Technical Recruiter will own the full-cycle recruiting process for complex engineering and manufacturing roles across GTI’s organization. This role is ideal for a high-performing recruiter with deep experience sourcing Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, and Structural Engineers and building repeatable, scalable pipelines of technical talent.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, and leadership positions — from intake through offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to define technical requirements, market positioning, and role expectations.
- Build and execute strategic sourcing plans to identify and engage engineering talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced Boolean searches, and third-party tools (Chrome extensions, niche platforms, competitor mapping, etc.).
- Create and manage project-based sourcing campaigns to saturate the talent pool within key disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Structural).
- Build repeatable pipelines for high-volume or recurring roles, ensuring GTI can hire critical talent quickly and efficiently.
- Use data-driven insights to measure pipeline health, sourcing channel effectiveness, and conversion rates.
- Manage candidate relationships to ensure a high-quality, responsive, and professional experience.
- Collaborate with HR, leadership, and operations to forecast hiring needs and prioritize key roles.
- Maintain ATS hygiene, track progress against time-to-fill targets, and contribute to reporting and dashboarding.
- Represent GTI Energy’s culture and mission in all candidate interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of technical recruiting experience, including 5+ years focused on engineering and manufacturing disciplines.
- Proven success sourcing Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, and Structural Engineers or similar technical roles.
- Expert-level command of LinkedIn Recruiter, including Projects, Boolean strings, and advanced search filters.
- Strong sourcing toolkit — comfortable using free 3rd-party Chrome extensions, GitHub, industry directories, and competitive market mapping to uncover passive talent.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term talent pipelines for recurring or high-demand technical roles.
- Experience recruiting within manufacturing, modular fabrication, or industrial environments.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident partnering directly with senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting in multi-site or high-growth manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar ATS platforms.
- Understanding of engineering workflows, design/manufacturing lifecycles, or industrial operations.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position based in Phoenix, AZ or Buffalo, NY (Remote).
- Primarily on-site for collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing leadership; hybrid flexibility available.
- Occasional travel to GTI facilities, career events, or conferences.
