Join Our Team as an Investment Portfolio & ALM Manager at Starion Bank! Are you an analytical, detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for balance sheet management and strategic decision-making? If so, we want you on our team at Starion Bank!
Position: Investment Portfolio & ALM Manager
Location: This position is available at any of our locations in North Dakota and Wisconsin. This position may be eligible for remote work where the physical location is within 200 miles of one of our locations in ND or WI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Bank’s investment and debt securities portfolio, including analysis, research, and trade execution.
- Prepare and present investment, interest rate risk, and ALCO reporting for senior management.
- Support asset/liability management modeling, scenario analysis, and stress testing.
- Monitor compliance with investment policies, regulatory guidance, and risk limits.
- Support liquidity monitoring, funding analysis, and balance sheet strategy.
- Support of budget and projection preparation.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in banking, fixed-income analysis, ALM or treasury, typically acquired through five to eight years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Working knowledge of fixed-income securities (MBS, CMOs, agencies, munis).
- Experience with ALM software and advanced Excel capabilities.
