Role Description
This role involves developing into a full cycle Sales Manager over a 12 month program within the automation industry.
- Developing and executing a strategic sales plan across the US
- Prospecting for new business to grow your project portfolio
- Managing and growing key accounts while identifying new project opportunities
- Leading complex, consultative sales processes from first conversation to contract signature
- Conducting site surveys and working closely with customers to define technical and operational requirements
- Writing and presenting detailed commercial proposals and forecasts
- Negotiating with senior stakeholders across engineering, operations, procurement, and leadership teams
- Working cross functionally with engineering, project delivery, and service teams to ensure flawless execution
- This is a field-based role with regular customer visits. You’ll manage your own diary, priorities, and pipeline like a professional.
Qualifications
- Experience in selling or engineering within the Automated Storage or Material Handling Industry
- Educated in Engineering at degree level or above: Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering (Preferred)
- An ambitious, hard working attitude
- Internal sales experience within engineering / manufacturing industries will be advantageous
- Experience within hands on engineering roles will also be advantageous
- Clear and concise communication skills to ensure you can lead client projects

- Ambitious and proactive technical person looking to develop into a sales role
Benefits
- Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
- OTE $180k - $200k+
- Uncapped Commission
- 20 Days PTO
