Role Description
The Senior Business Analyst / UX Designer is responsible for user interface design and business requirements front-end applications. They work closely with business SMEs, the Sr. Product Architect and software engineers to ensure the right solutions are designed and developed to meet the needs of the business. Works closely with the QA team to ensure a quality product is delivered. Works with the end users on application user acceptance testing.
- Design application user interface via wireframes and prototypes
- Document and recommend strategic solutions to business processes
- Write detailed application user interface requirement specifications
- Liaison between the business and development team
- Collaborate with Product Architect, Software Engineers and QA
- Oversee product UI development to ensure business requirements are met
- Perform usability testing of the application
- Facilitate user acceptance testing with the business
- Work with QA to troubleshoot issues
- Develop estimates for product UI design
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science - or equivalent experience
Requirements
- 15+ years’ experience in product and system user interface design and requirements definition
- Experience in designing user interfaces
- Knowledge of UI/UX design tools for building wireframes and prototypes
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret complex business needs, and develop data-driven recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Understanding of technology including database and software tools
- Familiarity with Agile / DevOps, SDLC, and product lifecycle
