• Own end-to-end design for Instacart's most critical customer experiences—the core shopping flows that millions rely on daily—from discovery and definition through polished visuals, specs, and launch. • Elevate visual and interaction quality across key flows (e.g., browse, search, cart, checkout) by refining patterns, simplifying complexity, and raising the bar on craft. • Partner with PM, Eng, DS, Research, and Content to define problems, explore solutions, run experiments, and iterate quickly based on qualitative and quantitative insights. • Create high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and production-ready specs in Figma; contribute to and extend component-based design systems across platforms. • Create and present compelling ideas that showcase improvements to top customer problems with innovative solutions, blending data-driven insights with impactful storytelling to engage and inspire our customers. • Collaborate with external retail partners and internal enterprise teams to design co-branded or partner-integrated experiences that meet shared goals and constraints. • Advocate for customer needs while balancing business objectives, technical feasibility, and speed—thriving in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
