Role Description

This role focuses on managing a portfolio of high-impact data science initiatives while enabling data-driven decision-making across technical teams.

  • Drive visibility and execution of operational and strategic data science initiatives
  • Partner with leadership to identify long-term priorities and strategic focus areas
  • Align technical roadmaps with organizational OKRs and business objectives
  • Prepare and present portfolio-level reports covering milestones, progress, and performance metrics
  • Develop and optimize processes for project intake, prioritization, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate resource planning across multiple teams and initiatives
  • Improve delivery timelines and reduce project delays across the program portfolio
  • Leverage advanced analytics techniques to derive insights from structured and unstructured data
  • Guide teams on analytical design, modeling, and data visualization strategies
  • Apply quantitative tools and emerging analytical approaches to support research outcomes
  • Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams including engineering and data science units
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions and organizational alignment initiatives
  • Ensure consistent communication and messaging across stakeholders
  • Track progress against key results and ensure delivery against commitments
  • Provide support for production incidents and operational requests
  • Drive continuous improvements in systems, tools, and processes across the portfolio

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience working with technical teams
  • Experience in data science, analytics, or technical program management
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive organizational priorities
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and visualization
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional technical programs
  • Ability to operate in high-growth, fast-paced environments
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and strategic initiatives
  • Proven ability to influence leadership decisions and drive alignment across teams
