Role Description

The Estates Manager will provide centralised oversight, structured planning, and proactive risk management across the estate portfolio.

  • Conduct estate condition assessments and dilapidation reports across all sites.
  • Develop and maintain site risk matrices covering infrastructure, compliance, and operational risks.
  • Produce 5 - 7 year infrastructure investment plans aligned with operational strategy.
  • Undertake facility lifecycle planning for critical building systems and assets.
  • Oversee building maintenance programmes, ensuring preventative maintenance and statutory compliance.
  • Provide estate condition reporting and risk visibility to senior leadership.
  • Support proactive estate management to protect operational continuity and asset value.

Qualifications

  • Managing large estates or industrial sites
  • Facilities or property management
  • Experience in food production environments
  • Overseeing maintenance, utilities or infrastructure
  • Managing budgets, contractors and suppliers
  • Hold a degree in one of the following areas:
    • Business Management
    • Estate/Property management
    • Facilities Management
    • Engineering Management
  • NEBOSH
  • Level 3 food safety
  • Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance
